How do I contact you with any queries?

Do you offer a paper cutting service?

We do not currently offer in-house cutting facilities. Please note individual paper sizes vary and are indicated on the product page.

 

Do you offer samples?

Subject to availability we may be able to offer small samples – we would request a postal fee of £3 for Royal Mail letter post. International postage will be more and quoted for individually. Please contact us at enquiries@shepherds-arts.co.uk to make your request.

Can I reserve stock?

We request payment in full for reservations that are to be collected later in our London store. Please note that we are unable to offer a refund or exchange for papers that have been rolled up awaiting collection.

 

Can you source other Japanese Papers?

We are the UK agent for the Japanese Paper Place. We are happy to order any Japanese papers viewed on www.japanesepaperplace.com

Please note that minimum quantities will apply and if required urgently we will quote for shipping on a case-by-case basis.

 

Do you offer trade accounts?

We can take orders with an official purchase order from registered companies and institutions. Please contact us to set up an account via email. Usually this is on a Proforma basis.

 

Where do I go for a bespoke binding project?

Please contact our bindery directly if you wish to have a quote for our bookbinding services, box making, book restoration or paper conservation. We are not able to quote for this work at our retail store in Gillingham Street. What is your return policy for goods purchased online?

If for any reason you would like to return an item purchased online, please contact us within 7 days of delivery for authorization and shipping advice. All return shipping costs are paid by the customer unless the item has been damaged before or during delivery or there has been some other mistake by our account. You will receive a confirmation email once your return has been processed.

 

What is your return policy for goods purchased in your retail store?

We are not able to offer refunds or exchanges of loose sheets of paper, cut lengths of cloth / supplies & bespoke items. We are happy to offer a refund, exchange or credit note for other goods that are unopened / unused & returned within 4 weeks in full saleable condition with your proof of purchase. Your statutory rights are not affected.
