Headbanding

Double sided machine made woven Headband - the easy choice for beginners and quicker bindings. Headbands are the decorative coloured bands that sit at the top and tail of the book block tucked inside the cover. Our machine made headbands are designed to be glued directly on to the book block before casing in. 

A handsewn stitched-on headband is much stronger as it is sewn on through the back of the sections and for those of you who would like to make your own bands we also offer Gutermann 100% silk threads.
