Rochester Row Bindery

Just a few minutes' walk from Victoria railway station and only a short stroll from Buckingham Palace and Parliment Square. Rochester Row has been home to our hand  Bookbinding workshop for over thirty years ? 

The workshop now incorporates the long established firms Zaehnsdorf, founded in 1842, and Sangorski and Sutcliffe, establioshed in 1901.

Our Bindery employs craftsmen and women from a broad range of traditional and modern skills - paper conservation, hand-sewn pages, gilt edges, fine leather covers and gold finishing- these are just some of the facets of a hand bindery.
