Judd St Margaret Calkin James

A Judd Street Edition of a pattern paper designed by Margaret Calkin James first published in the 1930s.

Margaret Calkin James was a calligrapher, graphic designer, textile printer, watercolour painter and printmaker. She is best known for her posters designed for the London Underground and London Transport between 1928 and 1935)

This decorative paper is part of a range published in the 1980s by the Judd Street Gallery from designs of the 1920s and '30s. The designs were originally published by the Curwen Press. Examples of the original Curwen Press papers by Diana Wilbraham, Edward Bawden and Enid Marx are also represented in this collection.

We supply our papers and cloth rolled in cardboard tubes or boxes as standard.

FLAT PACKS: Choose Courier Flatpack if you do not wish to have your papers rolled or are purchasing larger sizes of thick papers or boards larger than A1.

International deliveries will be subject to local import duties on arrival – we are not able to supply quotes for these charges prior to shipping. The courier or postal service will contact you to settle these fees before delivery.
